OBJECTIVES
Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with international standards. This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, implement, and audit an OHSMS based on ISO 45001:2018, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and best practices.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the operations of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) based on OHSAS 18001
- Learn how to interpret the requirements of OHSAS 18001 in the context of an OHSMS audit
- Acknowledge the correlation between OHSAS 18001, OHSAS 18002, and other standards and regulatory frameworks
- Acquire the competencies of an auditor to plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow up on an audit in compliance
- Learn how to lead an audit and audit team
- Understand an auditor’s role in planning, leading, and following up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011
